RED NOSE PIT BULL
Approx. Birth Year: 2005 Weight: 62 Lbs
Monty was rescued from a garbage dump. He was surviving on whatever he could find to eat – because when Monty sees someone he smiles – the people trying to give him food and water would not get close to him because they mistook his smile for a snarl so, he was being fed by throwing food at him. Occasionally a rodent would get close to his 3 foot chain around a tree, this became a meal.
The only entertainment he had was an old tire. The tire would hold rainwater that he could drink from.
Monty was rescued from this horrible place and has been at the sanctuary since March 26, 2012. Because he was in a very bad condition his Vet. Bills were very high. He was socialized to a point where he smiles at everyone coming into the sanctuary to visit the animals. Monty is very good with people and children, however he is not good with other animals – ANY animals, cats, dogs, mice, rabbits – nothing. He would do so well in a home with ONLY people. He knows to give you paw and will lay down and snuggle with you with absolutely no aggression and he loves to play ball.
Could you find it in your heart to either adopt this special boy with a bad past
