Queso's Story...
Hi I’m Queso, no relation to the cheese product. I am an 18 year old Senegal. I have a superb personality and I am looking for a human companion. I love to be the only feathered friend in your life, what can I say, I’m a attention diva! I have a wide range of vocabulary and love to tell you about my day. I do have one bad habit; I started plucking about a year and half ago but it’s just a habit, similar to a human smoking habit. You can help me kick my habit by supplying me with lots of chewing toys. I’m a packaged deal; I have my own home and carrier! So let’s be the Best of Friends! My adoption fee is $225.

Our adoption application and procedures are located on our website under the adoption & fee info tab. If you have any problems with the application, please email us at obparrotrescue@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queso, a Redlands Poicephalus (including Senegal and Meyer's) was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poicephalus (including Senegal and Meyer's) for sale in Redlands, or seeking a Poicephalus (including Senegal and Meyer's) from a breeder in Redlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poicephalus (including Senegal and Meyer's) breeders who help with Poicephalus (including Senegal and Meyer's) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
