My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey’s Foster Home is located in Middleburg, Florida

Honey is a gorgeous, black and red, female, German shepherd. She is 4 years old, and her birthday is in September. We have been lucky enough to get in touch with her original breeder and they provided us with information about her birthday, her parents and even sent us a puppy picture of Honey. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Honey was an owner surrender into a high kill shelter. Luckily for Honey, shelter staff contacted me to Rescue Honey. I am so thankful for our team of dedicated volunteers to assist in transport to our main Rescue location because Honey is really an awesome girl. Honey acts just like a Princess and we treat her the same.

Honey does well with other dogs but she really doesn’t like to play with her foster brothers/sisters she rather play Frisbee or ball all day long. Honey is a very active girl and we would like to see her go home to someone that has an active lifestyle. A high quality diet is a must for her and we will recommend good food and supplements to ensure her skin and coat remain healthy. Honey is great with everybody, children would be no problem, she does have a high ball drive which sometimes can lead to high prey drive so a home without small dogs and cats is preferred.

If you would like to provide Honey with a forever home she most certainly deserves or need additional information Please Email:luvgermansheps@yahoo.com

An application needs to be completed prior to a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior before final adoption.
