Mesquite's Story...
Mesquite is one of a litter of 3 ChiWeenie puppies that were abandoned at 6 weeks of age and made their way to Desert Hearts. They are adorable babies who just want to be loved and played with. Lots of safe puppy toys for play and a crate to help with the housebreaking will be musts for these little sweeties. Mesquite is the shy girl of the litter, and is a little nervous at first, but once she gets acquainted, she loves to play. She would love a home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves to have a long and happy life with her forever family. Small children under the age of 5 are probably not the best fit for Mesquite, due to her size. Anyone else with loads of patience and love to give will have years of joy and fun with this sweet girl. Call Abby today at 602-348-5599 to meet Mesquite. She's waiting to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mesquite, a Glendale Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
