Trisha's Story...

Trisha is a spayed female, lilac point Siamese, DOB May, 2011.

Trisha came into Jackson County Animal Shelter with her 2 black and white kittens the first part of April. She came into the rescue in mid-April with her kittens. The 2 babies have been spayed and neutered and have gone on to their forever homes. Now it is Trisha's turn.

Trisha is a friendly kitty and has a very sweet disposition. She does well with other cats and dogs. She would not mind living in a home with lots of activity and older children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trisha, a Brighton Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
