Penny's Story...
Penny was pregnant, abandoned and left outside to fend for herself. She had 2 litters before she was rescued. She is approx 4 yrs old and is a very friendly, sweet tempered kitty. She is a character - loves to do sprints down the hall and back in the morning. She like to try to fit herself into small spaces, even though she's not a small kitty. She would love to be your kitty and bring joy to you and your family. Please consider giving her a loving home. If you'd like to adopt Penny, please complete an adoption application and email it to me. Just remember, we are a non-profit organization and operate on donations. Your adoption fee is tax deductible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a San Jose Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
