Noah's Story...
5/16/12 Meet sweet Noah! A handsome retriever pup, this very social boy is around nine weeks and weighs 16 lbs, so we suspect he will be a large boy as an adult. He is very outgoing and playful with the other dogs in his foster home and is crate trained. He was rescued form a gassing shelter in eastern North Carolina by friends of Wags and he has been very grateful and gracious giving us lots of kisses and love! He will make a wonderful addition to the family that would like a dog that will need moderate daily exercise and some snuggle time on the sofa

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noah, a Southampton Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
