Fancy and Treasure's Story...
Treasure and Fancy, born around 2/3/12, are the epitome of sweet and affectionate. They love to tumble and play with each other, but if you lay down you will inevitably have two purring kittens on your chest, snuggling up to your face. They love playing hide and go seek and then jumping out to surprise the one another. They eagerly will run to you whenever you call them and love being petted and kissed. They are very happy and relaxed little guys- nothing seems to phase them, even the three resident cats who cannot figure out what they are! Although their markings are very similar, these little guys are really easy to tell apart: Treasure is plumper and has less white on his face while Fancy has high cheek bones and a thinner build- much like a Siamese. These little boys are amazing kittens who will make truly wonderful cats!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fancy and Treasure, a New York Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
