Willis is a Black Lab/German Shepherd mix, 60 lbs. and about 4 years.

ABOUT Willis:
Willis is very tender, shy and submissive. He was raised in a neglectful home on an Indian Reservation and then in the shelter for 6 months before we picked him up. He is tentative around men and children. However, when people approach him slowly, allow him time to become comfortable (letting him sniff and relax) he becomes more passive and tolerant. Willis takes awhile to get to know him, but once he does , he will be your loyal companion.

He follows Ross around the house, and submits to our authority. He is very sweet and will lick our feet until they are soaking wet. When he's laying down, he crosses his front legs which is so cute. He crawls under our short bed to sleep at night, and sometimes groans in his sleep.

Both dogs are fixed. We walk/run them twice daily, every day.

We currently live in Panama, but are bringing them back to the States on June 4th. We are fully prepared to make any arrangements necessary to rehome them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WILLIS, a Pasadena Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
