I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Patrone is a sweet boy, though big. He is 2 yrs. old and weighs 10 lbs. Appears to be mixed with a bull terrier or something similar. He was surrendered because he was a gift to the wife from the kids and the hubby didnt like him. Apparently the feeling was mutual! We have had no problems here with him. We think he would do best in a home with no more than one other dog at least as big as he is. He is sometimes aggressive with smaller dogs. Patrone does well with kids, though can be a bit pushy with smaller ones. He is not house-trained yet, but we are working on it. He loves to go for walks; he gets excited when he sees his harness or leash. Patrone begs for attention by jumping up and down, as high as 2, and waves his paws. But he does not climb gates. We are a group of volunteers that take in unwanted, abandoned or homeless Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. We take care of any Vet needs they may have and evaluate them as to temperament and likes and dislikes. We then match people to dogs and after completing our adoption process we send the dogs to their Forever Homes where they will be loved and valued as a family member.
We operate on donations and always have a need for things like leashes, harnesses, dishes, high quality dog food, beds, blankets and most importantly FOSTER HOMES!

We organized in 2005 and CR&R is registered as a non-profit charitable organization in Washington State & has Federal 501(c)(3) STATUS. We have successfully re-homed over 250 dogs!

Please contact each foster home where a dog lives that you are interested in to make an appointment to meet them. We participate in various events throughout the year where we show off our adoptable dogs.
Our adoption fees vary depending on the age and health of the dogs. We require that an adoption application be completed with at least two personal references and one Vet reference. We also do home checks to be sure the dog will go to a safe environment. Our Adoption Contract assures that the dogs will be cared for and if they cannot remain with the new family they MUST be returned to us.
