My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dell! I asked this nice group AGK to let me tell you my own story. You see, awhile ago, I was brought to a shelter and it was a scary place. I did not understand bars and small spaces at all. AGK found me and took me in. I went from foster to foster and I just kept getting into trouble. My last foster mom thought I needed more help so AGK sent me to this really cool place in Atlanta called US Canine. They taught me all sorts of things - I learned new commands, I played with a bunch of new friends but most of all I learned how to be a good boy and channel my high energy. US Canine (Miss Angie) told me the home that would make me happy is with a fun, active female dog, because hey - what fellow does not like the ladies. I also need a family that will give me lots and lots of exercise because that is what I do best. I am really a good boy, I just needed someone to show me how to do it! Oh, almost forgot, they said to tell you I am 1-2 years old and that I am a lab/ golden mix. I am also very healthy, housebroken and can be left alone in the house (after a good exercise) BUT I will chase cats. So Mom or Dad, if you are out there, please let AGK know because I am ready! NOTE: Adopt A Golden Knoxville rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. These dogs are fostered in private homes in East Tennessee. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transporter.
