Tambor's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Tambor is a sweet black boy who is very gentle and curious. He like to play, but also loves to snuggle up and fall asleep in your lap. He has a favorite nap spot on the couch where the sun comes in. Tambor will make a sweet, cuddly friend who loves to play with a laser light in his new home. Tambor, whose name means "Drum" in Spanish, seems to be into music -- he often hangs out in his foster dad´s drum studio. Tambor loves to play, and can´t wait to chase laser lights and toys with a brother or sister in his new home.

Tambor's siblings include PATITAS, LA CHANGA and TIGRILLO.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tambor, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
