My story

***Urgent need for foster care/rescue.***
This beautiful soul is Bobby, a 9 month old baby brindle pit/mastiff mix who was surrendered by his owners. They recently had to endure the death of their other dog who was Bobby's best friend, and they can't bear to risk having the same thing possibly happen to Bobby.

Apparently the older dog and Bobby got out of their yard briefly and were attacked by a neighborhood dog. Bobby survived but his friend did not. Bobby was found by the side of his friend's body, staying close to protect him. We hear those amazing stories of a dog's unwavering loyalty under extraordinary circumstances, and here is Bobby as living proof of that.

In addition to his loyalty, Bobby is one of the sweetest babies we have ever met. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, doesn't bark, and is easygoing, calm and affectionate with everyone he meets. We are tending to his injuries from the attack which don't appear to be too serious, but we desperately need a loving foster home for this poor boy who has already been through too much.

Bobby will only be placed into a forever home that is located within 1.5 hours of Lake & McHenry Counties in Illinois...(sorry, NO exceptions).** If you are interested in opening up your heart to Bobby, please visit www.aandsrescue.com and fill out an application.
