_______________________________________________________________________________
Due to a woman not wanting to condemn innocent puppies to time in a shelter, she turned the dogs over to a rescue and now we are courtesy listing them...they are adorable and all weigh under 3lbs.

Moriah is the biggest at almost 3 lbs she is adventurous and curious, she is on the right on the picture (Tessa is on left) she is one who looks the most like a small Maltese (a little ball of fluff). Tessa is the smallest and seems to be the boss of the three, she bosses both her sisters about, yet weighs approximately 2 lbs. Ali is the middle at a little larger than 2 lbs. They are adorable and supposedly a combination of Maltese's and Poodles, but we see more Pomeranian or something else...we will never know. Whatever the case, they are adorable and need a home just like any other dog.

Right now, they are able to go into an open home. However, they all must go out on a Spay/Neuter contract. We will add things as we go along and we see their attitudes.

Most dogs especially older ones are housetrained, like these little guys are, they can use a doggy door. However, it should be reminded that there will be few accidents in the beginning as all of the dogs are nervous and uncomfortable in new surroundings, until they get accustom to their new home. With proper discipline from the beginning, and corrective techniques, this behavior should stop within a few weeks.

Any dogs that have longhaired or wirehaired coats will need to be groomed on a regular basis, otherwise things can get caught in their coat and lack of grooming can cause hair matting, which can be painful for the dogs if not properly taken care of. Many local groom shops should have knowledge on how to properly groom your longhaired or wirehaired dachshunds.

Tax deductible adoption fees for the three girls are to be announced.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Garden Grove Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
