Ciba's Story...
Ciba is a beautiful 5 year old brown tabby. She is most happy in a quiet environment as she is a little on the shy side. Once she gets to know you, she loves to sit on your lap and be cuddled. Her coat is a soft fur, medium in length. She has lovely eyes as demonstrated in her pictures. Ciba enjoys her food lots, so we measure her food out twice daily. This kitty also enjoys her daily brush, and will gladly stay with you as long as you continue to brush her. Lovely Ciba is spayed and up to date with vaccines. Ciba's housemate is Joe, and the two have grown up together. They are a bonded pair and as such must be adopted out together to the same family. Both of Ciba and Joe are really sweet cats and play well off one another. Ciba comes with her own carrier.

If you wish to adopt Ciba and Joe, please visit our website at barksandmeows.ca and click on her bio for an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ciba, a Duart Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Duart, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
