Mikey's Story...
Mikey was born in approximately 2010. He will need another canine playmate and an experienced dog owner. He will need some gentle but persuasive training as he thinks everything is his play toy and it is always playtime. He is sweet and when he does settle down, he loves to cuddle. He will need a secure home and yard, as he is a climber, jumper and will do just about anything to follow you. He is ok with other dogs and cats but no small children.

Mikey needs a foster.

Stop by and meet our pets on Saturdays from noon to 4pm near the groomers in the PetSmart store in Simi Valley, except holiday weekends. Please email ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Simi Valley Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
