Roar's Story...
she has been dewormed, treated with frontline plus as of 2nd week in June and also ears cleaned and treated for ear mites..
he is now about 7.5-8week old i believe.. he has pretty greenish blue eyes. his siblings were already adopted. he has been living at a foster house for about 3 weeks with another black kitten about 5 days younger than him.. I thought Roar was a girl but my foster is pretty sure he is a boy.. it's harder to tell when they are really young. he was found as a feral kitten awhile ago with 3 of his siblings and is sweet as pie! ready to go home! i'm planning on getting his kitten shots soon as well! his foster says he likes to sleep next to her cuddled against her pillow.. i'm sure she will make an amazing addition to anyones family :-)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roar, a Austin American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Austin, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
