Maxine is a beautifully marked grey tabby with a white tummy, paws, throat and muzzle. She also has the most exquisitely luminous large green eyes. Maxine has come very far in her socialization. Now having the run of the house she’s getting to know the other cats and attempting to make friends. She has also learned to accept pets and even the odd cuddle. I thought she would be the most outgoing but Patty and Laverne have out paced her in that area...but not in playing. Maxine is the most active as far as toys and the fabric tube are concerned and was the first to jump right in! Maxine might also be a candidate to go to a forever home that would adopt her with one of her sisters. Either way I’m sure she will respond to kind attention and become that cat your lap is longing to have!
Despite the stressful and scary situation of the transition from hoarder house to animal control to her foster home, Maxine has never growled, hissed, bitten or scratched.
