Peep's Story...
Bonnie, Hoppy, Peep and Pal were found on Easter Sunday in a storage shed. They were about 2 weeks old and thin. The mother was not found and the people who found them did not know how to care for them. So they started calling rescues, and when the called us, we were able to find a place for them.

They have been bottle fed in a fantastic foster home and have grown into healthy, playful, loving kittens who now want to find homes of their own with people to love. They love to play and explore. Exploring and playing and then piling up for a nap are their favorite occupations! All are litter box trained and eating a mix of canned and dry kitten food. They love to be with people, giving you love and entertainment.

Peep is a fuzzy yellow boy who is a quiet and a little shy but, purrs so loudly the moment he is touched. His fur feels a little like wool. He is the last to come out and explore. He prefers to let the others check out the area before he investigates, but then he gets going and plays until he is tired. Peep likes to sit and knead on fuzzy blankets and play with toy mice. But he can tackle his siblings and hold his own when he wants to. He loves attack and wrestle with toys dangling from a string!

The adoption fee for these babies is $75, and includes neuter/spay, vaccines, deworming and testing for FeLV/FIV. All the loving they've been getting is thrown in for free! Two kitties from this litter can be adopted together for a bonded pair price of $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peep, a Schertz Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
