Scrappy's Story...
Scrappy was one of the smallest of the 13 puppies we received and yet was the first one at the food dish, the first out of the pen, and the one who always tries to get everyone else to play. He is outgoing and extremely friendly. He loves to play and runs up to meet everyone. This little guy deserves caring home where he can learn all the joys of being a puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy, a South Haven Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
