Brody's Story...
Hi, my name is Brody! I’m one happy, laid back fellow with a contagious grin. Totally submissive, I get along just fine with other dogs. Very curious about cats, I might give chase if they ran but teaching me to leave them alone shouldn’t be a problem. No one’s ever taught me basic doggy manners but I’m working on learning them because nothing makes me happier than making YOU happy! Little by little, I am learning that I don’t need to flop over submissively to get your attention. I remember discipline well and don’t repeat my mistakes. I am a touchy, feely dog who craves attention and loving from my people. I am the very definition of velcro dog although I will leave you to play with the other dogs or to check out my surroundings while on leash. Food is high on my priority list and I thoroughly enjoy each meal amazingly barking while I chew every delicious bite. I like kids, too, so would be a great family dog. Brody is a 2-year-old blue male weighing 35 pounds. He is neutered, current on vaccines and preventatives and microchipped. Brody is being fostered in Monroe, NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Siler City Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
