Gerti's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gerti's Story...
Happy, healthy and ready for my new life with you! I am a beautiful girl with big brown eyes that will melt your heart. I know basic commands and have impeccable house manners. I love long walks, hiking and playing outdoors with my person.

'm a little bit shy at first but not for long. Since coming to rescue I've become more confident and learned that people truly can be nice to me. I love being loved!

I was a little chubby when I first got here but thanks to my awesome foster Dad I've trimmed down to a healthy weight. He's a trainer at a doggie daycare and I get to join him at work each day. There I've got lots of other dog friends and the staff loves me and says I deserve the best home!

By the way, I've been told I am absolutely beautiful in person and that these pictures don't do me justice. Want to meet me and see for yourself how gorgeous and wonderful I am? I will love you forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gerti, a Loveland Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Loveland, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Loveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
