Paxton's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Paxton's Story...
We found this handsome boy waiting quietly in his kennel at the Orange shelter under a filthy coat of mats. We took him out for a visit and he transformed into a silly, happy go lucky dog. We couldn't leave without him! Now freshly groomed, Paxton looks like a completely different dog with a unique polka dot pattern along his body. This regal 1 year old mix of Havanese/Shih Tzu is learning the ropes in his new foster home which consists of going on regular walks, playing with the other pooches in the home, and eating meals he can count on. Paxton is going to make a great addition to most any family! Paxton weighs about 26 lbs.

If interested in Paxton, please see our website for an adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org

His adoption fee is $250, which includes his neuter, registered microchip, deworming, deflea, vaccines up to date and rabies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paxton, a Irvine Havanese/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Shih Tzu for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Havanese/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Havanese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
