WIllow's Story...
Sweet and Gentle are only two words that describe what a wonderful girl Willow is!
Willow was found as a stray and never reclaimed and we don’t understand why not. She is just under a year old and although she has her puppy playfulness, she really has a mellow temperament. She is a large yellow lab mix weighing about 70 pounds.
She lays quietly in her kennel when she isn’t chasing her ball. She is potty trained and has nice manners. She does great with the other dogs and loves people. She is a little shy when she first meets you but she will befriend you quickly!
Willow is one of those “honey” of a dogs just looking for a second chance at life!
Willow is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WIllow, a Minnetonka Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Minnetonka, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minnetonka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minnetonka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minnetonka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minnetonka paves the way for another one to be saved.
