Mitzi's Story...
Hello, my name is Mitzi! I was born in May 2010. I was found at only a few days old & was hand raised with dogs. I had to get used to being with other cats & now, I get along great. I’m a BIG kitty & love to purr, be held and have my chin & face rubbed.

I would do great in a home as an only cat with a nice, calm dog, too. My foster mom has a BIG dog that I just adore!

Stop by and meet our pets on Saturdays from noon to 4pm near the groomers in the PetSmart store in Simi Valley, except holiday weekends. Please email ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitzi, a Simi Valley Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
