My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OTIS. I am a sweet neutered male black and tan dachshund, just 4 years old. Can you help me? My owner lost his job and has to move to a smaller place where no dogs are allowed. (Can you imagine such a place!) I'm a good guy and I deserve a stable forever home, tho that has not been my experience so far. I like to go on walks or rides in the car. I am mellow and sweet. I can even get along with a cat. I could use a little calorie control, but if you keep me out of the cat's food, I will soon be svelte. Please come meet me.=====The adoption fee is $295, no exceptions. The fees include spay/neuter, rabies, dhpp, bordetella, pyrantel, advantage treatment, grooming including nails, as well as complete exam at our doxie vet. Each dog comes with custom made doxie halter, all new toys and blankets. All in all, an investment greater than the adoption fee. We have very strict adoption guidelines because we require an escape proof fenced yard and someone who is home most of the day. Kids over 10 are ok, but no cats less they've been raised with them, or other small prey animals (these are hunters). If our requirements sound like a good fit, please pull up the ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE on our website, www.odr-inc.org, under the adopt tab, complete the questionnaire and email it to jrangan@teleport.com. ====== Please wait to call until we have your questionnaire.
