MINI MUFFIN's Story...
MINI MUFFIN, AdoptFromFARR@yahoo.com, is possibly a Lab and Dachshund mix, about 6 weeks old. Mini came in with her 5 other muffin siblings from a kill shelter. We aren't really sure about the breed, put they look like mini lab puppies! They are all super sweet and little bitty "muffins". Mini is fostered with Tracy in Tampa. If you are interested in adopting, please send an email to AdoptFromFARR@yahoo.com with the dogs name listed in the subject line. Please include your name and return contact info. FARR Florida Retriever Rescue is composed totally of volunteers working to save the lives of neglected and unwanted dogs. The $200 adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, and neuter/spay fees, as well as any transport/pull fees FARR may have paid to shelter. All funds are used strictly for our rescues. You can also check out our other available rescue dogs and puppies currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting FARR Adopt-A-Pet or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MINI MUFFIN, a Largo Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
