Sophie's Story...
If you are looking for a cat with a natural classic beauty, you have found your kitty. Sophie is a quiet, sweet-natured female cat with a gorgeous peaches and crème coat. So many of the volunteers have stopped to give her a kiss that she has a lipstick stain on the side of her face. She has put on some weight living in a shelter (haven't we all). So she needs a good home with some good exercise so she can fit into her skinny jeans. Why not enjoy a cup of coffee and dessert every day with a Peaches and Crème kitty named Sophie. It is so sad to see such a beautiful animal stuck in a cage at a shelter. She loves exploring the office and will step outside to enjoy nature if the door is left open. About Our Shelter...
Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization. It is a no kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters, takes in lost, abandoned, or owner surrender animals. Cash donations along with donations of food, flea medicine, and cleaning supplies are the only means of maintaining this safe haven for rescued animals. The organization is staffed by volunteers and one hired hand that are committed to our furry friends. We welcome scouts and other organizations to spend time at our shelter loving and caring for our animals. Release forms are required for minors, but they are welcome.

Hours for adoption are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee for fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, wormed animals is $150. If the animal is not yet spayed/neutered, a lower fee is available so you can have it done yourself. The contract is a short two pages which can be filled out at the shelter. As we show potential pet adopters the animals we get a feel for their sincerity in adopting a pet. If we feel that the potential adopter is not adopting the pet to love and take care of the pet we reserve the right to refuse an adoption.
