Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sir Thomas 7 yr old male red tabby Norwegian Forest Cat
Regular adoption fee: see below
Do you think I hesitated when I saw his picture? "Yes I will foster him" I said, as fast as I could . I do love these big red boys. And what a beauty he is.! And big. Long, sleek , slender, long legged. I call them comfort cats-- a big armful of soft warm sweet cat.
His papers say that his owner died. He was an inside only cat who lived with other cats ,dogs and birds. His paperwork also says he is a "lap cat , playful, likes being held, likes being groomed, uses scratching post." He is a very nice guy. He came to me a bit unsettled from his long car ride, he wanted to hide a bit, and he had been in two shelters and for 6 months in a relative's home. Bouncing around, not an easy time for a big red heartbroken guy. I have had him one day ( it is 5/26 ) and he is already being friendly with us.
Coming back to feeling better quickly.
He is a great elegant creature. Sumptuous. Intelligent and thoughtful. We will get to know him better and will write more.
Someone will be super lucky to have his companionship. He is such a pleasure just to look at.
So far he eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.
