UPDATE: MAY 2013
**URGENT** This kitty's foster mom is very sick and this kitty is in desperate need of a new place to live. A foster home or forever home is absolutely necessary right now! Please contact us if you can help in any way!!
Rover came to us about a year ago. They are all a little bit shy but will warm up once they know who you are. Check out Rocky's cute nose! He's a swell guy, but he does not play well with young kids. For more information on them contact megann@happystrays.org. We bring an asst. of cats/kittens to Petco each Saturday 11-4, so please let us know if you'd like to meet him there.
Interested in adopting a Happy Strays Rescue kitty? Great! The first step is to complete an adoption application here: http://jotform.us/form/30087750081147 and a volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
Rescue Group Info...
Happy Strays Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. Our rescues are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing. Our cats and kittens are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they wait for adoption.
We currently have many many cats and kittens ready for adoption! Because we do not have a shelter and our cats reside in foster homes they are only available to be seen at our adoption Saturdays. If there is a cat you would like to meet, please let us know so that we can make sure the kitty is at our next evemt.
Our cats are available for adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3:30 pm at the PETCOs in La Canada and Santa Clarita. Please see our website for details and directions.
Our fees are $100 and include spay/neuter, testing for Felv/FIV and all vaccinations. We have an adoption questionaire and contract to be signed. We do not allow de-clawing, but we often rescue declawed cats and have them available for adoption. If the adoption is not a good fit for the cat or family, pets may always be returned to us.
