Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ADOPT ONLY WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
Kaiyah is a petite bi-eyed beauty just brimming over with a zest for life. She was dropped off at Animal Control along with her littermate twin brother, Max III. Being as smart, affectionate and healthy as she is, one can only speculate that her former owners may have come upon hard times and just could no longer keep her and her brother.
She gets along fine with her fosters’ two dogs and, with her boundless energy, is happy to spend time running around the yard chasing lizards. Like her brother, Kaiyah loves having a pet door, with a fenced in yard, so he can spend a lot of time outdoors and still occasionally come inside to check on her humans.
Kaiyah is very vocal about what she wants, including letting you know that she hates crates. Since she has not shown any destructive tendencies Kaiyah does not need a crate (the vast majority of Huskies usually don’t), preferring to stay (and sleep) near their humans.
She will also let you know when she wants to be petted. She is very loving and has this way of coming up to be petted and then going from a standing position to rolling on her back for belly rubs - all in one motion. She is the take-charge girl of the family, always first and not happy if she's not.
While we are not asking for Kaiyah and her brother be adopted together, as we have been known to do for dogs that have bonded for a substantial amount of time, if any adopter has room for two dogs, they can hardly go wrong giving both Kaiyah and Max III a loving forever home. Think how content you will be with both of these youngsters curled up on each side of you.
Kaiyah is healthy, spayed, heartworm negative, housebroken, microchipped and up-to-date with all her shots. She is a strikingly beautiful girl and draws lots of attention when you walk her through the neighborhood.
