Moon Pie's Story...
This is Moon Pie, he is a male short hair, gray & white solid. He was originally adopted out to a family in June that brought him back Halloween day because he didn't get along with their other cat so he may be best as a only kitty or an indoor/outdoor kitty so he can have space to get away. He is truly loveable and very very calm. His previous owner was very sad to have to bring him back. He's a chunky little guy weighing 10 lbs and he's only 7 months!!! He is defiantly going to be a very large kitty when he's done growing.
His adoption/donation fee of $35.00 includes his neuter, his first set of vaccines and second set including rabies, his deworming and Avid microchip. This would all cost nearly $205.00 at the Vet Clinic I work at!!! AMAZING SAVING!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moon Pie, a Clearfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clearfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Clearfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clearfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clearfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clearfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
