Harry's Story...
Meet Harry:

Harry is a neutered 4 year old male Bichon-Poodle Mix. Harry was rescued from a backyard breeder in Los Angeles, he was kept in a backyard for 4 years never allowed to be inside of a home, when we first took Harry into our Rescue he was in really bad shape, Harry was so severely matted that he could not see, he was covered in fleas and ticks and was anemic, his skin was black! In the month that he was at our Vet receiving the medical treatment he needed to get well, Harry has shown a very resilient spirit. Harry has blossomed and is now a very happy, playful and sociable dog. Harry walks well on leash and enjoys going for walks while also excelling at lapdog skills, Harry has the cutest underbite. Harry is sociable with other dogs and we think Harry will be the perfect pet for an individual or family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Oceanside Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Oceanside, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Oceanside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oceanside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oceanside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oceanside paves the way for another one to be saved.
