Tommy is our 3 year 11 month old Pit Bull Terrier...Stop by the shelter and spend time with him to see if he is the right match for you. Tommy had distemper when he arrived at our shelter but he survived. The only lasting effect from having distemper is a neurological impairment which causes his head to twitch occasionally. There is no treatment needed.
Tommy will thrive in his forever home and be your faithful companion. He will be responsive to positive reinforcement training. Our experienced staff is available to talk with you, answer your questions and provide advice on how to transition him to your home.
Tommy is neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tommy, a Brooklyn Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
