Rebel's Story...
in a Foster Home

Age: ~7 yrs.   Weight: ~25 lbs.

Rebel is friendly and loves attention.  He is very gentle and would be a perfect match for a family.  He does have occasional seizures but inexpensive daily medication keeps them under control. Give him a cozy bed and he will curl up and while away the hours!  Take him for a walk or let him run in the back yard a little and he is good to go!

He has had a rabies shot, 7-way shot, bordetella, and been wormed. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please have a look at our available pups. If you see one you are interested in, contact us to set an appointment OR visit us at the Pet Food Center North on First Avenue in Evansville on Sunday between 11am and 4pm! Our shelter is a privately-owned kennel, therefore it is not open to the public. Viewing of dogs is by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application followed by an interview. Upon arriving at the shelter, each dog receives a Bordetella shot, DHPPC vaccination and worming. At the veterinarian's office, our dogs receive a rabies vaccination, a spay or neuter surgery, and are tested for heartworm. If a dog tests positive, we treat the dog and then retest to confirm that the treatment was successful. Additionally, our dogs are microchipped before going home with their new family. Adoption fees are $85 and help to cover the cost of vetting.
