LuLu & Natalie's Story...
Lulu and Natalie are utterly adorable, playful, fun and loving, 11-week-old sister kittens looking for a loving guardian – preferably together. Lulu and Natalie landed at Chicago Animal Control and were lucky to find a wonderful foster home rather than a shelter cage. They are sharing a foster home with multiple cats who they get along with well … but they love each other best! They have excellent litter box skills and have learned to use a cat scratcher. They love attention from people of all ages too. They love to be held and enjoying jumping for feather toys. Lulu is the dilute blue and cream tortoiseshell kitten, and her sister Natalie is a dilute calico. Lulu and Natalie are very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, virus-tested, and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt them, please contact their foster mom Alexis at alexismansfield@gmail.com or 773-782-1175. Their adoption fee of $125 each or $200 as a pair supports the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LuLu & Natalie, a Chicago Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
