Anya's Story...
Anya is a 3 year old terrier mix who is 24 lbs and is house trained. She loves attention from people, especially belly rubs and playing fetch. She loves playing with toys. Sqeaky toys are her favorite. Anya can sit, give paw, lay down and high five for treats. She loves going for walks and car rides. She is very smart and seems to be very trainable. She gets along with most dogs but tends to do her own thing and does not like playing rough. We have not seen her around cats or small children yet. She may do best in a home with older children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anya, a Worcester Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
