MEET BELLINI....a perfectly precious, <5 lb, white with brown spots, 8 month old (DOB 10/8/2011) Maltese Pomeranian....whose first six months of life have been less than optimal. The people who bought her had all good intentions...but when they found out they were pregnant, all bets were off. Bellini is a typical puppy with lots of energy and an abundance of kisses that she wants to share with everyone!! But this was too much for a mom to be. She gave Bellini to a friend...who gave her to her son...and the next thing we knew, Bellini was living in a crack house. The original owner took her back and called a friend and adopter of LHH, who begged us to take her. So, Bellini came to LHH from Fresno....and she is safe and very loved at her new foster home. She is very smart, learning where the bathroom is and doing wonderfully. She really is thriving!! She does like to be the center of attention, but we are working on socializing her. She would be very happy if her feet never touched the ground, but it's important for her to learn to share the lap!! She is light as a feather and probably won't be more than 6 lbs...she has a lot of energy and likes to be with you wherever you are, but we believe she would like to have a brother or a sister as a companion -- she loved to cuddle with her foster family at LHH. She can be vocal if she wants something, but she settles down nicely...and loves to go in the car (although she likes to lay across your lap...!!) Bellini is a cuddle bunny and just needs a little time to get used to her new digs...and the family. A winner!!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

First Sunday of the month, we hold our adoption events at The Healthy Spot West Hollywood (8525 Santa Moinca Blvd, West Hollywood, 90069) from 11am-3pm. Most every other Sunday, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 10:30a-3pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
