Rambo's Story...
well, my name is Rambo and i am one heck of a rambunctious little guy!! i have short to medium length hair and am a orange tabby... you know, all orange tabby boys are awesome ;-) i'm just happy i had another chance at life and hope i get to find that forever home soon!!! when I was picked up with my siblings from the shelter, I had pink eye and a small cold but with antibiotics I became much better!! I am now over my cold and will be getting kitten shots next week unless I get adopted before then! I have also been given l-lysine supplements the vet gave me but if I get my kitten shots soon and a booster 3 weeks later this cold is supposed to never come back :-) (with routine vaccinations, of course)
I am a sweet cuddle bear and love to cuddle with humans and cats alike! I think I would get along with dogs as well but don't rush the introduction!!
please give me the great life i almost never got a chance to have! I will love you no matter what :-)
I will need a spay/neuter contract signed upon pickup.
i was dewormed for roundworms, treated with frontline plus as of 6-8-12, and have been treated for ear mites as well..
I am fuzzy and soft and have weird fur compared to other kittens.. I have been told recently that I am a heart breaker because of how handsome I have become after my pink eye and cold finally went away!!
I come with a container of dry food, *2 cans of wet food and a toy..
will you come meet me today? i'll be waiting!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rambo, a Austin American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Austin, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
