My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tania is a 7 month old pit/lab with so much love to share. Her whole body wiggles when she see's a stranger and she doesn't understand when every single person does not want to pet her. She loves to be petted by children as well. Tania has been through formal training at Posidog learning center. She knows sit, down, wait, knows to look at you when you say her name, and has an EXCELLENT recall (comes when called). She gets along with all of her foster brothers and sisters but is overwhelmed by a dog park environment. She isn't quite sure about cats because she's only seen a couple so she would probably do better in a home without them. She has recently learned to swim and LOVES to retrieve floating items and will drop them at your feet. She also loves playing in the kiddie pool in our back yard and goes crazy for the water hose, chasing it in the air. She is super soft which makes her a delight to cuddle with. She gets the zoomies at night and runs in circles around the house which is very cute to watch. She loves her big fenced in yard and would spend hours out there playing with her foster sister. Tania does not like meeting other dogs on leash and is going through training to overcome this fear. For this reason she will need an experienced owner who will continue her training throughout her entire life. She is crate trained and does very well during the day with a Kong to play with. She is housebroken and will ring a bell by the door when she needs to go outside. If you are interested in this lovable girl, please fill out an adoption application or come to one of our adoption events to meet her!

Tania's adoption fee is $175, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vetting, and microchip.

If you are interested in learning more about this pup, please complete an on-line adoption application today! http://www.petpromise.org/FormAdopt.html.

We require a home visit as part of the application process. We are only able to coordinate home visits where we have local volunteers. We do not adopt to municipalities where pit bulls are banned and all adopters must comply with all State and local laws when adopting this breed.
