Buster's Story...
*******IMPORTANT****** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.

Buster is a 4-5 year old stray male. Buster is a big boy, tipping the scales at 65 pounds, very sweet and well behaved. No sign of food aggressions. Came in contact with several dogs and cats with only mild curiosity. He smells yeasty, but will be corrected quickly with the correct food and some good medicine. He needs to be neutered. His right eye was yucky and appears dry. He is heartworm positive!

Once his skin clears up, he will be neutered and then begin heartworm treatment. He will be ready for adoption after he completes his heartworm treatment.

We have yet to see Buster around children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Winder English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Winder, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
