Sofia's Story...
This gorgeous 4 year old Maine Coon is a big girl and needs to be an only cat. She has an amazing personality and is a beautiful girl. She loves to be brushed and needs regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat shiny and silky. Sofia is basically healthy but has a heart murmur and a congestive heart condition. For that reason she needs to be an only cat so that her food intake can be controlled to keep her heart as healthy as possible. She also is on an inexpensive medicine daily, and needs to be seen by a vet a couple of times a year to monitor her condition.
She is a complete love bug and will reward her owner with kisses and snuggles and her special brand of Maine Coon love. If you'd like to know more or arrange for a visit please phone Nancy at 949 951-2760 or email: nancydykema@comline.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofia, a Laguna Woods Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Laguna Woods, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Laguna Woods.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laguna Woods already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laguna Woods breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laguna Woods paves the way for another one to be saved.
