My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you want a small dog packed with personality that would be GREAT on the agility course then you might want to look no further. This little girl loves to jump and does it with grace even on the highest level. She took to the tunnel right off. Anita has the head of a chi on the body of the doxie ,weighting in at 17lbs.This comical little girl is about 2 years old and just packed with personality. She can be silly and playful at times but loves best to snuggle with someone on the couch or at the computer. Her funny antics will charm and amuse you! Anita loves her people and is very devoted to them. She seems to enjoy the company of children too. She can also be a bit bossy with other dogs but has adapted well to the other dogs in her foster home. She does very well with cats. While Anita can be slow to warm up to new people, once she does she is sure to warm your heart! She is for the most part housetrained but does need to be kept on a regular schedule or she gets "lazy" about it. (she doesn't ask to go out, she just expects you to know!) "We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces. It's our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat to find the true soul that lies within........we are rescue."

Please see FAQs reachable thru the link on our home page before emailing us with questions as many answers may be found there...thanks
Before getting any dog or puppy please make sure you are prepared to make a life time commitment to them as they are living breathing beings with feelings like you. Rescue dogs and puppies sometimes need frequent potty breaks to learn house breaking skills. Please be prepared to take the time that they will need to not only learn house breaking skills but to be an accepted member of your community.
If a dog or puppy is not spayed/neutered prior to adoption you will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract saying you will have the dog or puppy spayed.
