Lizzy's Story...
I'm Lovely Lizzy and I am ALWAYS happy to meet new people. If you come visit you're sure to pass me in the hallway just gazing up at you waiting for a cuddle. I'm told I'm quite beautiful and I don't like to disappoint so I keep my appearance in tip-top condition with assiduous grooming.
I really miss having a family of my own; my guardian surrendered me and my friend Bambi to PAWS because she couldn't care for us any longer.
Please consider taking two wonderful and extremely friendly felines into your home. We've adjusted well to PAWS but know that it's time to find our forever humans so that more needy cats can be helped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzy, a Toronto Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
