Shy Sweetheart
Scrappy’s story is all too typical: She came to Feral Friends along with two siblings – all of them unwanted kittens. Scrappy got off to an especially rough start, with a severe eye infection that could easily have taken her vision. But those beautiful eyes came through. Scrappy made a full recovery and has been healthy and happy ever since.
Scrappy is a gentle lady whose shyness might keep her from really shining at PetSmart. One eye does occasionally weep when she’s stressed. She needs time to grow accustomed to new people and surroundings. Once she’s comfortable, Scrappy becomes the best of companions, as well as an energetic playmate who is partial to furry mice. But her favorite thing is sleeping with her head resting on her human’s arm, and she’s adept at shifting herself to a human’s movements in bed – “logrolling.”
Scrappy gets along well with other cats when properly introduced. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. If interested in meeting her, please contact us at 972-671-0429 or adopt@FeralFriends.org.

Rescue Group Info...
Our mission is to assist the community to reduce feline overpopulation. We accomplish this mission with two programs.
Our adoption program called Rescue and Re-Home places cats and kittens for adoption into loving homes.
Our feral cat program called Race to Reduce Litters utilizes TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return) to help control feral cat breeding and overpopulation. Cats are humanely trapped, sterilized and vaccinated against rabies and are returned to their original location where human caregivers provide food. Kittens from feral colonies are tamed and entered into our adoption program.
We hold our adoptions on Saturday's from 11-4. Our locations are PetSmart N. Dallas at 16821 Coit Rd.
Dallas, TX 75248 and PetSmart Rowlett at 5709 Liberty Grove, Rowlett, TX 75088.
We also hold adoptions during the week by appointment.
Our adoption fees are $105 for adults and $135 for kittens. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, microchipped and treated for parasites.
In addition, we offer a free 30 day pet health insurance policy.
We serve the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.
