Scrappy’s story is all too typical: She came to Feral Friends along with two siblings – all of them unwanted kittens. Scrappy got off to an especially rough start, with a severe eye infection that could easily have taken her vision. But those beautiful eyes came through. Scrappy made a full recovery and has been healthy and happy ever since.
Scrappy is a gentle lady whose shyness might keep her from really shining at the adoption center. One eye does occasionally weep when she’s stressed. She needs time to grow accustomed to new people and surroundings. Once she’s comfortable, Scrappy becomes the best of companions, as well as an energetic playmate who is partial to furry mice. But her favorite thing is sleeping with her head resting on her human’s arm, and she’s adept at shifting herself to a human’s movements in bed – “logrolling.”
Scrappy gets along well with other cats when properly introduced. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. If interested in meeting her, please contact us at adopt@FeralFriends.org.
