I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Denny is believed to be a 6 - 7 yr old Brittany Pointer mix. He was pulled from a Tucson, AZ shelter where his life was in danger. We believe Denny spent a lot of time outside in the Arizona sun because he had melanoma on his belly. Denny has a fair complextion and short hair, therefore he is at a higher risk that most dogs for skin cancer. We have had the melanoma tags removed and he is doing well. Denny was quite thin when we got him from the shelter but with special food and supplements he is striving.
Denny is very birdy but probably hasn't had any formal hunt training. He minds well overall but would definitely benefit from some obedience classes and one on one attention. He is a flight risk off leash.
Denny is housetrained, crate trained, gets along with the other dogs and is very loveable and silly. He loves to do the Denny dance. If you ever meet him, just ask him to perform it for you.
If you are interested in Denny, please submit an application via our website at www.nbran.org. You may also contact Robin Smith at britrescueaz@cox.net.
Please note that NBRAN's adoption process includes an application, home visit, and vet reference before adoptions are approved. The adoption donation is $300.
