Cricket and Dolly's Story...
Bonded pair Born: 2007

Cricket and Dolly were saved from euthanasia after being abandoned by their owner and need a special home that will interact with them and play with them to make up for years of neglect. They are around 5 years old and love attention. Cricket is a lovely grey, and Dolly is a dark tortoiseshell. A video of their rescue is attached.
Cricket just wants to sleep on your hair when she isn't playing, and Dolly is starting to play. All she wants to do is purr (very loudly) and get belly rubs. It took 2 days to get her playing with a wand toy, she was probably never played with before and just sat in one spot all day, no interaction.
Although Dolly is a very large kitty (more to love), she has had a full blood work done that showed she is in perfect health. She just needs to strengthen her little legs and she will be a star.
Please consider adopting these two ladies, sisters, mother and daughter, best friends? We may never know their relationship, but they love each other and need to be adopted together.
You can tell Dolly has been moved alot as she freaked out when taken to the vet. As if she thought she was being dumped again, it was heart breaking. She needs someone to show her what a spoiled kitty's life could be. All the catnip and belly rubs she can ask for and Cricket to lean her head against at night.

Can you offer these two the stability they need?

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Special Ones is an independent rescue in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, working mainly with cats rescued from high volume shelters, cats that more often than not have been slated for termination. We also rescue abandoned kitties and kitties that were born outside, which typically require varying degrees of socialization. Our cats are socialized to people, other cats and possibly dogs.
Come Meet Our Pets...
To meet our kitties, you can first check them out here on or on our website. Once you know which kitty/kitties you would like to meet, you can contact us for an appointment. Not all of our cats are at the kennel, so we do have to arrange for the cats you'd like to meet to be here at the appointed time.
