BARKLEY's Story...
Barkley is a big ol' lovebug of a Beagle, 11yrs old, neutered, housebroken, has no major health problems. He is leash trained and does not chew or tear anything. His energy level is moderate. His food intake must be monitored because he loves to over-eat. He is good with kids but we'd like to place him with an older person or couple, better suited to his age. He enjoys outdoor time and loves to bask in the sun, but is mostly an indoor dog and must be kept inside at night. His favorite toy is a bouncy ball. Barkley is affectionate and loves for you to pet him. He is a good little watch dog; he will moderately bark when the house is approached. For the most part, Barkley gets along with other dogs. He's just a good old Beagle boy who needs a loving home with someone dedicated to caring for him for the duration of his life. Barkley's gonna make someone a terrific family pet! Placement fee and home inspection apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BARKLEY, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
