My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaitlin came to Labs and Friends.Org from the Bakersfield shelter. Unbeknownst to us, she was pregnant. With the help of fellow rescuers Russell Rescue of California, we found a foster to whelp the pups. Kaitlin is a 35 lb. black and white Australian Shepard mix. We do not know who Dad is and at this early we are guessing on the mix. Either way, Kaitlin is great with other dogs, loves kids and is doggie door trained. She gave birth to 5 wonderful puppies on April 3rd 2012. Now she and her pups are ready to find their forever homes. All these pups have been handled since day one and are also doggie door trained, great with kids and sweet, sweet sweet! There are three girls and two boys. They have been dewormed and have had two rounds of DHPP and Bordatella. Rabies will be done at 6 months with spay or neuter.

To apply for Buffalo PLEASE DO NOT CALL. SEND AN EMAIL TO BE SENT AN APPLICATION OR FILL OUT OUR APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE. www.labsandfriends.org. and either email it to info@labsandfriends.org or fax it to 818-351-8148 (no cover sheet needed) Any inquiries will not be returned without a filled out application.

Requirements to adopt a puppy from us are either 1) another well socialized dog if you are gone more than 8 hours a day or 2) the puppy not being left alone for more tan 2-4 hours per day. References will be checked if there is no other dog.

Adoption fees are $275 all but $50 is tax deductible as a donation to our 501(c)3 nonprofit. We require a refundable $200 spay neuter deposit which will be refunded at the spay or neuter at 6 months. If you take the puppy to our vet (near South Pasadena) to be spayed/neutered we will pay the fee and return your full deposit. If you want to take the pup to your vet, you pay for the spay or neuter but we still refund your $200 deposit.

Once again. No phone calls or information about the pups are given without a filled out application and a home check.
