Ethel born 1/23/12, all black and yes her twin brother is Fred. Both black beauties are looking for a forever home. They do not have to be adopted together but they would love to have a friend. Typical kitties that love to play and wrestle, with a lot on energy. Ethel loves to follow her human and looks for attention when you are watching TV, or just reading a book. She does love to play but is not as rough and tumble as Fred likes her to be!! Ethel lets you know when she needs some cuddling!! The window is also a favorite spot, what’s better than a cool breeze on a hot summer day. Come see Ethel and Fred they are at Petco in Totowa on most weekends..
Ethel is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped.

Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.

S.T.A.R.T. does require an adoption fee, a pre-adoption application along with signed contract once your application has been approved. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets please call us or access our pre-adoption application which can be located at www.startpets.net, click on "adoptions". Out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption approval.
